FADELINK Privacy Policy

Effective June 4, 2026

This policy explains what information FADELINK collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. FADELINK connects clients with independent barbers and shops.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account info: name, email, phone, and the role you sign up as (client, barber, or shop owner).
  • Profile content: photos, bio, specialties, social handles, and (for barbers) services and working hours.
  • Bookings & messages: appointments you create and messages you exchange with the other party.
  • Location:if you grant permission, your approximate location is used to find and sort nearby barbers. We don’t track location in the background.
  • Photos & camera: images you choose or capture for your profile, portfolio, or reviews.
  • Contacts:only when you tap “Invite Contacts,” and only the contacts you select to send an invite to. We don’t upload your address book.
  • Payments: bookings are paid in person, directly between you and the barber or shop. FADELINK does not process card payments and does not collect or store your card or bank details.
  • Device tokens: an Expo push token so we can send appointment and message notifications, if you allow notifications.

2. How We Use It

  • To create and manage your account and bookings.
  • To send transactional notifications (booking updates and messages).
  • To show relevant barbers and shops near you.
  • To keep the platform safe — reviewing reports, enforcing our content policy, and removing or banning abusive accounts.

3. Who We Share It With

We share data only with service providers that run the app, and only as needed:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Expo — push notification delivery.
  • Twilio — delivers SMS invitations to the contacts you choose to invite.
  • Sentry — crash and error diagnostics. We strip personal details (email, phone, location) before reports are sent.

The barber or shop you book with sees the information needed to provide the service (your name, appointment details, and any messages you send them). We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account (More → Delete Account), we remove your profile and personal data. A limited set of records may be retained where required by law.

5. Your Choices

  • Revoke camera, photos, location, contacts, or notification permissions any time in your device Settings.
  • Block other users from the “···” menu on their content.
  • Delete your account at any time from More → Delete Account.

6. Children

FADELINK is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the effective date above when we do.
